Avex Technologies Set to Accelerate Blockchain Industry After METI Selection
THE Content Recycling Promotion Business through Joining/Splitting Copyright from Avex Technologies which utilizes blockchain technology has been recently selected for the Japan Content Localization and Distribution (J-LOD) Subsidy Project by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and industry (METI).
The proposed business would help creators of intellectual property to navigate the increasingly diverse and complex landscape through which said intellectual property is delivered as technology continues to advance.
Existing copyright businesses and related laws need to adapt to this changing landscape, and it is anticipated that the previous complications making it impossible to manage copyright over the internet will be resolved and commercially available with the introduction of blockchain technology.
Avex Technologies’ Content Recycling Promotion Business has been selected for the Development and Demonstration of Systems for Distribution of Content Using Blockchain Technology section of J-LOD under Development of Highly Innovative Content That Uses Digital Technology.
The METI’s J-LOD Subsidy Project promotes foreign development of content originating in Japan, and it aims to establish an ecosystem in which the content industry will sustainably develop while also promoting the expansion of industries related to popular Japanese creations and international tourism.
Avex Technologies aims to bring new value to original works that have been split apart and optimized in response to market demand, and it will lead to a world where all intellectual property can be developed safely and securely in both foreign and domestic markets.
